Role Overview: The Center Medical Specialist performs physical examinations, reviews medical histories, and assesses donor suitability in a plasma donation center. They build rapport with donors, ensure confidentiality, and provide health education and counseling on test results. Responsibilities include managing donor injuries, evaluating health status, assisting in staff training, and administering employee hepatitis vaccines.
Qualifications & Skills: Certified or licensed as a Paramedic or EMT with current CPR certification. Must have strong communication skills, manual dexterity, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently. Ability to handle biological fluids and work in cold environments with appropriate PPE is essential.
