Provides independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating professionalism and managing complex patient needs. Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social factors. Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitors outcomes, and documents patient information accurately. Assesses learning needs and educates patients and families. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), at least one year of relevant experience, and active RN licensure. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. New hires must complete orientation, competency validations, and annual training. Preferred experience includes pediatric or perinatal nursing. Additional certifications have specified grace periods for acquisition. The role involves a full-time schedule from 7AM to 7PM.
