The registered nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies. Responsibilities include delivering nursing care according to the ANA standards, using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation), and addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. The nurse administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitors side effects, and documents patient information. Additionally, they assess learning needs and educate patients, families, or caregivers. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), at least one year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and an active RN license. The role requires strong clinical judgment, delegation skills, and the ability to handle complex care situations. The position is full-time, with shifts from 7AM to 7PM.
