This role involves assessing patients, developing and updating comprehensive nursing care plans, and delivering safe, therapeutic care to a diverse patient population including adolescents to geriatrics. The nurse provides supervision to LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, and clerical staff, and may serve as a charge nurse. Responsibilities include evaluating patient responses, documenting care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The nurse evaluates educational needs, provides patient and family education, and acts as a preceptor and role model for students and staff. Effective communication, confidentiality, and safety practices are essential. Qualifications include a BSN preferred, RN licensure, BLS certification, and prior RN or GN experience. Multiple shifts are available for full-time employment.
