Provides direct patient care in respiratory therapy based on physician orders, acting as a resource for physicians and nursing staff. Consults on therapy effectiveness and performs assigned duties to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program, current RRT certification by NBRC, and valid state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Critical care experience is preferred. Additional certifications such as PALS and ACLS are advantageous. Must meet physical demands, including lifting and maneuvering respiratory equipment.
