We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN specializing in Gastroenterology to join our dynamic healthcare team in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures, diagnoses, and treatments. Your responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, preparing patients for procedures, assisting during endoscopies and other GI interventions, and monitoring post-procedure recovery. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Duties Include

• Performing patient assessments and documenting clinical findings
• Assisting with GI procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies
• Monitoring vital signs and managing patient comfort and safety
• Educating patients on pre- and post-procedure care
