We are hiring Registered Nurses for various Adult Acute Care Medicine units, including telemetry, renal, palliative, and specialized care for older adults.
Working under supervision, RNs assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise patient care, delegate tasks, and may serve as charge nurses or preceptors.
Key responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, developing and communicating individualized care plans, coordinating care with the team, evaluating patient responses, providing education, and ensuring quality service.
Specialized skills include neuro assessment, airway management, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and familiarity with neuro procedures and patient equipment.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), valid Connecticut RN license, BLS certification, and proficiency with electronic health records. Experience is not required.
